Lunch box Recipes.

Ayurveda explains the main meal to be taken at Lunch time when our digestive fire (Jadhara Agni) is at the maximum strength. Because of our working schedules or city life, we are unable to cook and take a nice lunch. Mostly we will be eating from the canteen as salads or sandwiches. Even there is an availability of warm, cooked food, it is not prepared with the necessary spices what is good for each individual. Either the food is so spiced too much or too fatty.  Here come the Lunch box recipes what you can make easily at home and take with you to your office.

The course explains the easy way of cooking and take away recipes. Even if you have no time for cooking you can make some Chutney, Pickles or Dosha Balance powders which you can add or sprinkle with your Resturent or canteen food. So you are always having your Herbs & spices even you are away from your home!

Recipe: Ingwer Chutney V- P++ K–

Ingwer                                          100 g in dünne Scheiben oder fein gehackt

Bockshornklee pulver        

1/4 TLHing / Asafoetida                  

Eine PriseTamarind                       Kleine Kalk große oder nach Geschmack

Jaggery                                        

1 ELCurryblätter                            

3 ZweigeSenf                                              

1/2 TLGhee                                            

1/4 Tasse (oder wie erforderlich, um Ingwer braten)

Himalaya Salz                         nach Geschmack

Zubereitung

Ingwerstücke in Öl braten bis braun und knusprig. Wenn es abkühlt, grob mahlen in einer mixie.Weichen Sie die Tamarinde in warmem Wasser (etwa 1,5 Tassen) und extraktieren Sie ihren Saft.Öl in einer tiefen Pfanne (mit dem übrig gebliebenen Öl braten Ingwer) und stottern Senfkörner. Nun fügen Curryblätter und braten für ein paar Minuten
